The are several slots around the middle of the barrel.When the plunger is in the uppermost position，the slots possess the function of oil entering and gas escaping.This can increase the filling coefficient and prevent “gas-lock“.It is not necessary to install the oil drainers in down-hole and the vapour-injection operation can be done without lifting the tubing strings.So the pump is suitable for the heavy crude oil wells and gaseous wells.
